My vision was largely based on a colour palette (inspired by a woman’s leggings in Waitrose). Then came the design: texture vs smooth, sharp vs rugged. I painted the glass panels to create a feature, scrubbed up the hardware and even dyed the original tassel to make this piece ONE OF A KIND. The main feature is the rose which is the only ‘free’ aspect to the otherwise meticulously crisp design. The whole thing has been sealed with clear wax and buffed to a lovely soft sheen. This is a corner cabinet that has been photographed straight on.
