This glass-fronted display cabinet has been restored and handpainted. Two glass shelves (with polished edges) are currently being made but I chose to photograph without these to show the artwork more clearly.

I have chosen a botanical theme for the back of the piece with the main frame being painted in a dark green and finished with black wax. The claw feet have been painted and the claws themselves gilded.

This is a statement piece of furniture that would be sure to start conversations!
